🌿 Privacy Policy

Garden Match Puzzles ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account Data (optional): If you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and an encrypted password. You can also play as a guest without providing any personal information.

Gameplay Data: We store your game progress, scores, level completions, coins, boosters, and garden items to provide cloud saves and leaderboard functionality.

Purchase Data: If you make in-app purchases, transaction records are processed by Apple (App Store) and RevenueCat (our payment processor). We receive a transaction confirmation but do not store your payment method or billing details.

Device Information: We may collect a device identifier for guest accounts and basic device type information for compatibility purposes.

Push Notification Token: If you enable notifications, we store your device push token to send you daily reward reminders, achievement alerts, and game updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

2. Advertising

Third-Party Ads: We display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS) to serve personalized ads. This data is used for:

• Displaying relevant third-party advertisements
• Measuring ad performance and effectiveness
• Frequency capping and fraud prevention

App Tracking Transparency (iOS): On iOS 14.5 and later, we request your permission before using your advertising identifier for personalized ads. You can grant or deny this permission, and change your choice anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. If you deny permission, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.

Rewarded Ads: You may choose to watch video ads in exchange for in-game rewards (e.g., extra moves). This is entirely optional.

3. Analytics and Tracking

Analytics Data: We use PostHog analytics to understand how you play and improve your gaming experience. This includes tracking gameplay events, level completion, feature usage, and app performance.

What We Track (with permission):

• Gameplay events and level progression
• Feature usage and user interactions
• App performance and error reporting
• Marketing campaign effectiveness

4. Apple Game Center

We integrate with Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. When you sign in to Game Center, Apple handles your Game Center profile data according to Apple's Privacy Policy. We submit your scores and achievement progress to Game Center but do not access your Game Center friends list or other personal data.

5. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not access your contacts, photos, or camera
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• We do not track you without your permission (iOS 14.5+)

6. How We Use Your Information

• To save and sync your game progress across devices
• To process in-app purchases and restore previous purchases
• To display leaderboards and daily reward streaks
• To serve advertisements (personalized with your permission, or non-personalized)
• To send push notifications about rewards, achievements, and game updates
• To provide customer support
• To analyze gameplay patterns and improve the game
• To measure marketing campaign effectiveness (with tracking permission)

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob — Advertising. AdMob may use advertising identifiers to serve personalized ads. Google Privacy Policy

• RevenueCat — In-app purchase management. RevenueCat Privacy Policy

8. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. We retain your data only as long as your account is active.

9. Children's Privacy

Garden Match Puzzles is rated 9+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Guest play requires no personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Control ad tracking — On iOS 14.5+, you can grant or deny tracking permission and change it anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• Control notifications — Disable push notifications anytime in Settings > Notifications > Garden Match Puzzles.
• Delete your account — Available in-app under Settings. This permanently removes all your data from our servers.
• Play without an account — Use guest mode with no personal data required.
• Request your data — Contact us to receive a copy of your stored data.
• Opt out of personalized ads — Deny the App Tracking Transparency prompt or change it in Settings. You will still see non-personalized ads.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
